Pastor Keith Cox

Bro. Keith became the pastor of Eastside Baptist Church on July 7th, 1992. He has served here for over 21 years. Brother Keith graduateed from Jackson High School in Jackson, LA. He recieved a football scholarship to Southwest Mississippi Junior College and Arkansas State Univeristy. In 1981, Keith graduated from ASU with a Master's Degree in Education. He began teaching physical education and coaching football for eleven years before surrendering to the ministry. During his pastorate, he continued his education by recieveing a Master of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997.

Keith has been married to Susan Roddy Cox for over twenty-six years. They have five children and three grand-children. All of his children attend and serve Eastside. Keith enjoys sports, exercise, working outdoors, and spending time with his family. He is a Bible teaching pastor who believes every christian should have an in-depth knowledge of the scripture and be apart of the disciple making process that Jesus began in the New Testament.
