April 27th - It is time to hear what God has to say; Has God ever failed you?

Think about all your life. You may have not had all your prayers answered the way you think that they should have been.

Think about trials and stressful times.

God is not in the "failing" business.

God has never failed me in helping me stand before this or any congregation and preach His word.

You cannot think of anytime that God has failed you.

1. Life's Problems

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. (2 Corinthians 12:7 KJV)

The apostle Paul knew that he was tormented by satan. You would think God would have a hedge around such a great disciple maker. We have no hedge either.

God sent a messenger (angel) demonic demonized person sent by satan to torment Paul. God allowed this in order to keep Paul from exalting himself. God keeps him humble. Just like Job. A messenger of satan. You have been around people that you can sense a demon possession about them. They are hateful spiteful evil. Torment means to ill treatment from another person. This demonic person was used to tear down all the work of the church. Paul said "Concerning this I implored The Lord" thus means "Passionately asking God to remove this thorn in my flesh." Paul asked three times. God did not do it. Think about the times you have experienced circumstances similar to this.

2. Life's Provisions.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:7, 9 KJV)

This is only for born again Christians.

A. God's Grace!!! 2 Corinthians 12:9

God said to him; "My Grace is sufficient." Sufficient means a constant availability of Gods favor and provision. No matter what you are going through, God's Grace is enough.

He supplies you with enough grace to endure and make it through successfully.

We should be thankful and acknowledge this grace and how good God is to supply it to us.

"My Grace is Sufficient" for power is perfected in weakness.

B. God's Power 2 Corinthians 12:9

The other part of God's provision is His Power.

God not only supplies grace but also power.

This power will overcome ANY problem or weakness.

Perfected means complete, mature.

Dynamic power from God. How can we ever fail.

My power is "perfected" which is a continuous perfect tense verb. Continuous power all the time. This is power available all the time.

How can we ever fail? If you say no to His power and grace.

He never fails you. A dynamic power available anytime.

Talk about a stress reliever.

There are all kinds of stress relievers out there, drugs, counselors etc. Nothing can compare to God's grace and power.

Our Savior Was crucified and died for us that we might receive His grace and power and that He would never ever fail us.

March 23rd: Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NKJV)

Why do I worry and am anxious about different situations that come up.

In ALL things- things with your job, things in your family, things that stress u out. These things always come out all right. Why, because we are more than conqueror in Christ Jesus. We will always be the winner, because of Christ. The only reason you would not be ok or come out on top, is if you don't believe in the verse.

We are a top notch conqueror!! Not just a conqueror. We are MORE than....

Personalize this message!! In all the affairs of my life, I am more than a conqueror!

You are like a boxer who has been fighting for 20 years and NEVER lost a fight.

Nothing will defeat you. IF you believe the verse. The only way you will be defeated is in how you view yourself. If you believe you are weak you will be beaten.

You are "more than" which means first rate, better than, dominant, successful, superior too, mighty, greater than, top notch, unable to be defeated.

The bible tells me what I am. I can rise above any problem in my life. Everything has always turned out all right in the past. Why worry so much when it always turns all right.

I am over that, above that, better than that.

Conqueror- means a phenomenal. enormous always win nothing can defeat you.

People could throw away all there anxiety pills if they could grasp this verse and believe what God says.

Even in death we are conquerors through Christ Jesus.

Tell yourself "I am always a winner"!!!

Thus is what GOD SAYS!!!

What great truth we have read today.

Thus can give you such a peace in all situations.
